Weight is a mechanic in Ultrakill. Enemy types could be divided into five weight classes: light, medium, medium-heavy, heavy and superheavy. While weight is only acknowledged in-game in the context of the Whiplash, this wiki further classifies enemies based on observed interactions with the player and weapons.

Weight class
Light Medium Medium-heavy Heavy Superheavy

*Flesh Prison's eyes and minifaces increase their weight to heavy while being absorbed.

Cancerous Rodent, Something Wicked, and Earthmover (except for its brain) do not have a weight class, due to having no verifiable interactions with player collision or the Whiplash.

Idols have the collision properties of superheavy enemies but cannot be grappled to; the Whiplash's spear will pass through them uninterrupted.

Whiplash[]

Enemies belonging to light weight class will be reeled towards V1 with the Whiplash. When V1 uses the Whiplash against enemies with heavier weight classes, the Whiplash reels V1 towards the enemies instead.

Magnets[]

Light and medium weight class enemies filled with nails can be pulled towards the magnets. Enemies in heavier weight classes can't. Interestingly, Guttermen and Guttertanks are both able to be pulled by magnets. However, they are incredibly difficult to get off of the ground.

Knockback and pushing[]

Enemies belonging to light, medium and medium-heavy weight class can be knocked back with explosions, shockwaves, punches and so on. Flying enemies are affected to a lesser extent than ground-based enemies. In addition, flying or airborne enemies of light to medium-heavy weight can be pushed around by V1. Heavy and superheavy enemies are immune to both knockback and pushing, with the exception Swordsmachine, who is immune to knockback but not pushing.

Note that Gabriel, who is of medium weight, is resistant (but not immune) to knockback but not pushing.

Collision on dash and slide[]

V1 can dash and slide through the enemies that belong to light, medium, medium-heavy and heavy class. V1 will be pushed away from an enemy if a dash or slide ends inside it. V1 cannot slide or dash through superheavy enemies.

Built-in enemies[]

Certain enemies don't have a true weight class because they are built into the level. these include Flesh Panopticon, The Corpse of King Minos, Minotaur, (First introduction and first fight), Flesh Prison, 1000-THR "Earthmover", 1000-THR Defense System, and the Idols.
